This model of fuzz pedal was sold under many names. Apollo, Mica Tone, Mayfair, Rands, LRE, and Companion come to mind.

Differences I have seen are:

Footswitch- Some use the Miyami, others use the Switch KoGYo (marked Shin-ei or Companion on the button).

Bottom plate- Some are removed by taking off all 4 rubber feet. Others have a slotted plate that slides into the case and is held by 2 screws (feet stay on plate).

Jacks- Some have the stereo jack (to switch battery on/off) on the input, some have it on the output, and some
just don't have one.

PCB- One version does not seem to be cut for the trim pot. These have all the leads leaving the board along one edge.

Battery holder- Usually these are inside the case.

This fine old pedal was purchased by Bill K. from
Chicago Music Company in Tucson, AZ. in '68 or '69.

A fab UNIVOX site!
